I saw Lizzie McGuire yesterday. And I saw her dad on a TV programme. I forget which one, though.

Hilary Duff is taking a cue from the breakout hit of the summer "The Devil Wears Prada" and going to work at a fashion magazine.
No, the toothy teen isn't going to slave under the tutorship of Vogue domin-editrix Anna Wintour. The 18-year-old phenom will guest edit an upcoming issue of the teen bible known as Seventeen Magazine.
While Hilary may not have much publishing experience, the barely legal babe does have her own fashion line called Stuff by Hilary Duff. And in the last year has slowly transformed from teen tart to more sophisticated style icon.
You can check out all of the Duff's mag magic when her issue of Seventeen hits newsstands in the fall.

Hilary Duff is still around? Its amazing to me she is still considered famous. She had a sub-par show on Disney, and co-stared in a few somewhat successful movies. Her music career was a joke, and she has never had a good movie in which she is the lead role.

Hilary's Blog (July 14) :: I can't wait until July 18th. I am hopping on a plane to see my big sis Haylie in Hairspray in New York on Broadway! She told me that she pretty much has all of the cheorography and singing down. I would be so nervous if I were her, but she seems excited and anxious. I heard that there will be a full house on opening night! Hey, if you're in New York in the next 3 months, make sure that you check it out. Gotta go. I’m on my way to NY.
Wow! I am thrilled that Haylie and I are nominated for a Teen Choice Award! I am nominated for Choice Movie Actress - Comedy and Haylie is nominated for TV - Choice Breakout Star for 7th Heaven. Remember she won Breakout Star performance last year for Napoleon Dynamite? Please support us by going to teenpeople.com and voting. I can't wait to go because every year we have so much fun!

Haylie is excellent on 7th Heaven but with all the great talent on TV today, particularly the CW, I'm not sure she can win. Duffy may have a shot though.

Excellent! That means it is more likely that her new album will be all original material, like her second one!

I usually agree alot with you, Legitimist, but I guess not on Hilary! I think she will have a much bigger part in writing this next album. Even though she hasn't written much of her lyrics in the past, I still think that her songs are "hers". Besides, just as long as she sings I'll be happy!
I think she will be even more popular in two years, providing she stars in a breakout role, which I'm sure she will. She has the talent, she just needs the to find the right people who will help her mold and shape it. (The same goes with her music career.)

I'm as big a Duffy fan as the next chap but even I have to admit she's done nothing but safe roles and generic music so far. She needs to shake things up or soon she'll just be another teen star that couldn't make it into an adult star.

That's true, all of her roles have been safe so far. She needs to be "lured" out of her comfort zone. So, I hope that she will retain her good girl image, but at the same time star in "darker" films.

Or maybe she intends to quit acting once she finishes her Harvard education. I guess we'll just have to wait and hope for the best.

Harvard? She must be one smart girl? I bet she still gets roffled at by the intellectuals there, though. Are there any jocks at Harvard?
