What can I say? Science is a word coined by men. Do men understand life? No, they don't. So they chunk the topic under "Science". There are alot of things that cannot be explained by science, kid.

don't throw that condescending bs at me, KID. that's right, you're the kid here, not me. i'm 19, you're 16. end of story.

as for your arguement, or lack thereof, i don't think you get it. science isn't used to analyse life like you're making it out to. it's used to understand the mechanics of the working body and evidence left by nature. it doesn't even touch on important stuff like society, faith, beliefs, relationships, etc. - which are all apart of life. we have a ton of faculties which deal with life; it's not just science. anyway, it seems you're in over your head as you don't even seem to understand what science does.

better luck next time.

I must admit, I can never win this argument as you apparently have a superior knowledge of what science is about. I know nuts about it. And being 19 years old doesn't mean you are mature enough to call someone whose 3 years younger a kid. Seriously, I don't know about others but I'm kinda pissed at how you're bringing other people's views down.

thats funny... i alwys thought we were born with knowledge... the ultimate knowledge.. the older we get the more we forget...

i always thought a baby knew everything it needed to know..

age doesn't come into any factor here.. and you seem very ignorant and uptight in that comment... if you were a scientist i would frown upon you... age is nothing in this world..

and you prove that to its fullest extent

I believe in Darwin's theory. Although there are gaps, it definately has the most scientifical support.

Some earlier posts stated that if Darwin's theory was true, then why hadn't lower beings evolved to survive? Well, right now in time there is no reason for the beings to evolve. There is no threat to them in the environment, so how exactly would evolution occur in such circumstances? It wouldn't, as evolution requires a threat which causes the week (who do not have a mutation or other advantage) to die, which allows those with the advantage to become the majority. ;)

Quote

In fact we could talk for months about the perfection of this world.
For you is God, for me is Nature, and it's the world that is perfect inside.
It's perfect because the thing that created it was (is?) perfect.
But i don't think, well, i'm pretty sure it's not a thing that is able to think and to judje us, and to tell us some rules to live better. That's kinda insane...

Well i quote myself by the other Islam topic in wich i was nearly offtopic, and i guess here fits better.
I tried to talk about this question a bit philosophically...and i talked about perfection.
Well i guess that the world is perfect because it's perfect inside...the little things that we can't believe something, like how all our body works to live, the way the flowers comes in certains hours of life and stuffs like these. It became from something perfect, and well someone could call it God or Nature (as i said), but the thing we can See it's that it is perfect, because it's this perfection that lets the whole Universe not to collapse into itself (see the gravity things among planets, stars, galaxies!)...i guess even the Bad, the violence and stuffs is complementary to Good things like love and good feelings to create a sort of equilibrium and simmetry that keeps the world together. So, all the bad things that we try to disgust because they couldn't be made by a God, are just dark colors of a painting that comprehend every color, dark or light what it is, to do this sort of equilibrium that let the wolrd to be perfect.
I hope i was not really un-understandable with this speech, that's just what i think of thewhole life!
