Hi, I'm (trying) to use FlashGet to download files from the site, but it seems that you block them, is that right? I 'm getting 403 forbidden in my log...

I just spoke with someone who operates the site. He said you can use download managers, but only if they have cookies enabled. Cheers.

Ok, thanks! It works with Internet Explorer, but with Firefox it doesn't, even with the FlashGot extension...I guess I'll have to try another download manager... |

I think you just need the cookie set for IE. I'm able to use a download manager in FF whenever I do download something |

point is the download manager have to send the cookie values with the login info in it in the request header, or else it returns 403 =) dont know which ones does this or not, but NetTransport does, not really a download manager, but does the trick.. |

Thanks! I just found an option in Flashget to use cookies, but since it doesn't have native FF suport, it doesn't work even with Flashgot extension. I'll just have to visit the download page in IE every time I want something, but that's ok, I'll figure something out. |

There is a firefox extension that allows you to open a page in IE right from FF. its called IE Tab - heres a link. I just started using it myself, that might make things a little easier for you to so you dont have to open up IE every time you want to DL a file. Credit: ll4ever for showing me the link- he is the king of FF extentions. |
