Lindsay is capable of making her own decisions. How hard is it for that to sink in? There's no "bad influence" and no "dragging" anyone anywhere. She's not a child. If she really wants to [censored] up, it won't be Sam, or Jenny, or Dina, or Michael, or ~Jesus~ to change her mind. As for "who was Sam before Lindsay", does he seriously think the Ronsons are a bunch of nobodies?

I read the same article on MSNBC, except that it adds that Lindsay keeps following Sam instead of working on her own career.

This, I feel, is partially true, as Lindsay does not seem to be seeking much work, such as acting gigs, nowadays, choosing instead to simply regularly accompany Sam to her place of work, which is the disco, rather than spending time auditioning for movie roles like she did in the past.

So far this year, Lindsay only acted in a few episodes of Ugly Betty and Labour Pains, apart from taking her time to record an album.

Maybe that's what prompted her dad to speak out.

I kinda agree with Cecil on some points,but the main thing that keeps her from getting roles is her past behavior, I personnaly think that once people think of you a certain way they're not going to be able to change their minds about you.The only thing now that keeps her famous is her personnal life...well what can we do ?It's her choice to make not ours.I sincerely do not think that Sam is to blame for that,if Linds wants a comeback she better work hard and non stop instead of going shopping everyday...But Michael is totally out,he should just shut his mouth sometimes

For goodness sake. She absolutely is working. She just finished shooting a movie (miraculous in itself because it was believed they'd be completely unable to insure her for anything for at least another year), she currently as we all speak is shooting guest spots on one of the most popular comedies currently on television and she's in the middle of making her new album.

If you're going to talk crap Michael, at least get the basic facts right.

Yeah, I totally agree - let's just wait (and hope) that Labor Pains get's great reviews and is a hit at the box office - if so, work will come flooding in for Linds! So (Michael) let's just wait and see............ I think Lindsay said she only wanted to do quality stuff from now on, not just anything she's offered a leading role in.



And just how would dear Michael know about that (even if it were true, which it isn't.)

X17: Is it true that Sam is writing a book that will include details about her relationship with Lindsay?

ML: Dina said to me the other day, and you can hear it on my voicemail, 'Did you hear that Sam's writing a book?' So it seems it may be true. Samantha's a control freak and she's using Lindsay to further her career. Lindsay's been sold out by so many people in the past, Sam would just be another name on the list.

X17: Why is Samantha bad for Lindsay?

ML: She's feeding Lindsay alcohol behind the scenes, but that's really Lindsay's fault for taking it -- it's not about drugs or alcohol. A person can be a drug and Sam is a drug. She's very controlling and manipulative and it's not a healthy relationship for Lindsay.

I told Lindsay after she left Cirque Lodge that she needed to surround herself with good people when she got out and Sam and her friend Patrick are definitely not those good people. The only people responsible for keeping Lindsay on track are her sober companion, her assistant, and Blair Burke -- and, I hope, myself ... definitely not Dina.

We were supposed to have a family meeting the night she went out to dinner with Sam and her mom and Lindsay and Dina just skipped out -- just after telling me all about how Sam has a negative affect on Lindsay's life.

So I'm calling my lawyers, going back to court, and I'm going to hit her where it hurst - the wallet. I gave Dina everything in the divorce, just so I would get to see my kids and now she does this to her own child.

X17: What do you say about accusations from the media that you're attacking Sam simply don't like what has been portrayed as Lindsay's gay relationship with her?

ML: That's not the reason at all. Lindsay is fragile and Sam takes advantage of her and the relationship is too intense and too dramatic. Sam and Dina are probably the two worst people Lindsay could be around right now ... along with her friend Patrick.

I mean, look at Sam ... does she have an identity crisis or what? I mean, the way she carries herself, the way she dresses; she's a slob.

As long as Sam's in Lindsay's life, Lindsay will never be able to reach the potential God gave her.

X17: The media have commented that Lindsay looks better; she looks healthy; she doesn't appear to be drinking or doing drugs; she showed up to work on time for "Labor Pains." By all accounts, she seems to be doing well. What are her problems or issues right now?

ML: It's not about Sam giving Lindsay drugs or alcohol or anything -- there are prescription drugs from doctors -- psychotropic drugs, antidepressants -- that have a serious effect on a person. And I would like to put that out there. These things can mess with a person's mind.

I see some parallels between Britney and Lindsay -- the instability, the domineering companion. Lindsay's not in the state that Britney was or is, but there are minor similarities. Just because a person's not abusing drugs or alcohol doesn't mean they're healthy. And Lindsay being with Sam is making matters worse.

I would sacrifice my own life to get Sam out of Lindsay's.
