Gay marriage may be legal in California now, but wedding bells don’t seem to be in Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson’s immediate future.And if the couple were to wed, Lohan’s dad Michael probably wouldn’t play the proud father giving away the bride. “I haven’t heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don’t think she’d ask me to walk her down the aisle,” says Michael. “She knows about my (Christian) faith … she just wouldn’t ask.” That’s not to say that he doesn’t support Lindsay and a possible relationship with Ronson, he just supports her in more indirect ways. “I want her to be happy and healthy and stay on the right path,” he says. “If I discuss (her relationship), I say that I want her to be happy.” How inappropriate. I hope Lindsay doesn't find out in a magazine that she shouldn't even think about asking her father to walk her down the aisle. I find it especially disheartning considering I recall a journalist asking her a few years ago whether she will ever reconcile with her father and she said 'Of course, I need someone to walk me down the aisle'. |

What an asswhole, now I hate Michael Lohan even more then I did before!!! Its better off that he doesnt walk Linds down the aisle because if he doesnt want to be supportive for her on the happiest day of her life then I wouldnt even consider him a "father"!!!!

saint michael and his 'religion' IS stupid,all 'brand-name' religion(s) is stupid,and i REFUSE to be labelled. why can't people just live and let live??? obviously Lindsay is very happy,ecstatic,in my opinion,and her freako-dad should be happy for that,as this time last year,LL was in rehab no.3,basically under house arrest,legal problems galore,stalled career,and reviled by a lot of hollywood and ex-'fans',so to see where Lindsay is today,career on the rise,more music on the way,and in a relationship that is very beneficial to her self-worth,self-esteem,and puts that million-watt smile on that beautiful face,i am happy for her,and would gladly walk her down the aisle,in place of that judgemental,close-minded,hypocritical fuddy-duddy dad of hers. love you,sexy,bossy angeLL in black.

Maybe we should wait until they "name the day" before talking about who will walk Lindsay up the ailse. Neither Linds nor Sam have said anything about "marriage", the closest is Lindsay saying she wants to spend her time with the person she cares about - her father (I don't think!) Anyway, if it were true, why wouldn't anyone be walking Sam up the aisle? Could you imagine Sam in a wedding dress? Linds in top hat and tails?  btw you shouldn't judge a religion on just one of it's followers..... I hardly think St Michael is the best example of how a christian ought to behave!
