Does anyone know why Lindsay pulled out of this film?
I heard it was either because of financial differences or scheduling conflicts, but i'm not certain.
I feel that salary should not hv been an issue because Lindsay was supposed to be an A-lister (at that time).
And Lindsay had no other film or music projects on during then, so her schedule should hv been free.
Whatever, the reason, i feel that it is a forgone opportunity, as reading from the mixed reviews on imdb, it seems overall to be a good film, and i would very much hv loved Lindsay to be in it.

Yeah too bad she droped the movie i mean she shouldn't have it turned out a really good one and I'm sure she would have done a better job than Sienna Miller but that's just my opinion

Insurance problem, that's what the director said

the story that was floating around in 2007,was that miss Lohan had lost her insurance carrier for this film shoot,due to a failed drug test or legal difficulties involving her recent dui/arrest/rehab and Lindsay was forced to drop out of the production. all of the stories put out in 2007 were speculation,as neither Lindsay or her publicist have ever directly addressed this issue. i tend to believe that Lindsays missed oppurtunities with films she was forced to abandon,will not hurt her,as all of these films will be of little or no consequence to the movie fans out there. let me explain: i watched 'bill',a movie that LL dropped out of,and (ugh)j.alba did in her place,and it is muddled,dragging,boring,and i like aaron eckhart,but he was definitely uninspiring in this totally forgettable movie. LL also dropped out of 'teardrop diamond',or something like that,film is on the shelf until 2009 or later. Lindsay was supposed to do 'poor things',but i was only interested in this movie,because i wanted to see Lindsay paired with channing tatum,but once he moved on,i lost interest,so whatever,shirley maclaine is a mess and way too political for my taste. i'm confused on the jack black vehicle,'ye olde times',is LL still attached,as this movie shoot is in late 08,maybe 2009. i really didn't understand all the hoopla over 'manson girls',as LL never signed anything,her 'involvement' was strictly rumor central,lol. for my parting shot,i really hope that miss Lohan gets some more work following 'ugly betty',as this immensely talented young lady was born to be on the silver screen,a modern incarnation of those gorgeous and hugely talented ladies of old hollywood. love you,Lindsay,see you on that oscar stage...
