Michael Bay doesn't do independent, he only does big. But there is not a single source listed for that rumour, so I'm saying fake. The movie is far too early in its production anyway. |

It's not an April fools, there is no news article on this and the last changes made to the wiki page were a couple of days ago.

oh lord, i know nothings confirmed, but I do pray that Lindsay stay far away from this film. Michael Bay and his remakes are big box office trash. The only good remake to come from him was Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Transformers was a good film by him, though not a remake. He's currently filming a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. W...T...F. THEY DON'T NEED REMAKES AND NEITHER DOES ROSEMARY'S BABY! uggh. |

Bay preps 'Rosemary' redo By Borys Kit March 12, 2008 "Rosemary's Baby" is in for a rebirth. Paramount is in negotiations with horror shingle Platinum Dunes to bring back the classic for a new generation of moviegoers. Partners Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce the remake. Adam Fields ("Donnie Darko"), who brought the project to Platinum Dunes, will also produce. "Baby" was a best-selling novel by playwright-author Ira Levin ("The Boys From Brazil," "The Stepford Wives"). The book was adapted in 1968 into a much-loved Paramount movie directed by Roman Polanski that starred Mia Farrow, John Cassavetes and Ruth Gordon, who won an Oscar for her role. The story follows a young couple who move into a gothic New York apartment, where they are befriended by their elderly neighbors. After the woman becomes mysteriously pregnant, she discovers that the neighbors actually are part of a coven of witches and that her husband has allowed her to be impregnated by the devil in exchange for a successful career. No scribe is yet on board to write, and Platinum Dunes plans to be meticulous with the remake, knowing it has been entrusted with a jewel from the Paramount library. Platinum Dunes already is working with Paramount, along with New Line, on a relaunch of "Friday the 13th." The company is in production on "Unborn," an original supernatural thriller being directed by David Goyer. I hope she gets the role. Michael Bay directed Pearl Harbour, thats a good film. Rosemary's Baby was a good film, one of the best horror films of the 60's. It would be great if she got the role. This post has been edited by knicksgirl: Apr 2 2008, 07:45 AM |

I don't know Why do you think that he is really not? I think he's still new and has a long way to go for this bussiness compared to others. I'm sure he doesn't care in the least bit if he wins an oscar or challenges the viewer's mind. This post has been edited by Marionified: Apr 2 2008, 10:44 AM |

Michael Bay is a director who does no-brain entertainment, it's just a different kind of movie than the more serious ones who have Oscar ambitions. He just makes movies to entertain people. And as I said, there is nothing to indicate that Lindsay has any connection to this project. |

well, if she DID do this film it would be odd, seeing that the original director was Roman Polanski, Sharon Tate's husband, Sharon Tate being the actress murdered by the Manson Family, and Lindsay--- is in Manson Girls. hmm. lol
