Im on another form along with this one, and they had a competiton where you would make headers and people would vote and it would be the header on the site. It was really fun! The header isnt really big on this site but its good, but I was thinking wouldnt it be fun if we did this?

we had something like that long time ago they were called a GFX battle but they weren't just banners/headers they were basicly everything wallpapers , signatures, avatars/icons etc and we also had a icon competition not that long either but yeah anyway it be kinda fun to have another one sometime soon

yeah, but this would be like a thing that would be used on the main page.

lol the banner rarely every gets changes and besides if we did have a competition doesn't mean the winner's banner will be used cause the staff has to vote if it should be used

We actually had that a couple of months ago. So it's probably not going to happen again anytime soon.

I also think it's fun to have competitions like that and I'd gladly do something like the Icon Challenge again, but last time I had to keep stretching the deadlines because only a few people signed up and the voting kept ending in a tie. I think it was a conspiracy against my person, led by those damn penguins.

yeah that is the problem. those with skills to make are not active enough to have the contest too often. what about a yearly or bi-yearly thing?

Simple, because I said so.

But seriously, the number of members that seriously takes part in this kind of activity is quite limited. So the amount of effort involved isn't really worth it.
