One fine day, out and about amongst sticky streets of the greater Hollywood metropolitan area, a young hispanic man in his 20's wearing blue jeans and an Ozzy t-shirt walked with hands in his pockets whistling Foreigner. He had in his ears the familiar white headphones that come with an ipod. "It feels like the first time" he sang off key, pulling out a fist and pretending his cupped hand was a microphone. Just then, a fashionable young redheaded woman bumped into him intentionally. "Excuse you much" she sneered over her shoulder, giving him the patronizing once-over. "Well I would" the young man chuckled "except you bumped into me." The young woman stood there with mouth agape, outraged at the accusation. "I would never do that" she snarled, "least of all with the likes of you." The young man rolled his eyes. "Yeah, and here I was about to introduce myself to you." The young woman stared at the man coldly, throwing daggers with her eyes. "Don't give me that" she snapped sternly "I run into guys worth ten times as much who do the exact same thing a trillion times a day." The young man smirked. "Right, and next thing you're going to tell me that you're Lindsay Lohan." The woman looked at him befuddled. "I am Lindsay Lohan" she huffed, looking like she needed to prove something. "Right" he chided "And I am Mysterwright. The most elusive personality on the internet." Lindsay walked up to the man and pinched his chin, pulling him down to her eye level. "If I hear you say one more thing about my friends like that" Lindsay growled coldly "I will take this knee and shove it somewhere that I know probably won't hurt you much." "You've never even met the guy" the man laughed heartily. "If you did, you'd know that he is me." Lindsay proceeded then to knee the man in the groin and storm off. "I live in Dixon" the man gasped, holding himself as Lindsay walked away. "You once said in an interview that you never give up on friends right away." Lindsay stopped momentarily, knowing he was right. "Anyone can be from Dixon" she replied, walking back over to him. "What's something about him that only his friends know?" The young man stood up hunched over, hands placed on his knees panting. "He goes out of his way to be nice, regardless. It's what people try to take advantage of him for." Just then, a couple of rough looking individuals of approximately the same age looked over."Try being the key word." Lindsay glanced over at the rough people and back to the young man. "Okay, and what else?" she asked. "He's had a bad run with women in the past. This being just like one of those moments." The young man groaned, cupping himself and falling to his knees. Just then, the rough people stood. Lindsay looked to them panicked, not seeing the young man smiling and giving them thumbs-up behind her back. "Okay, okay so suppose I believe you" Lindsay spoke nervously. "How do I know you're not just some stalker with goons even if you are him?" The rough people looked at the man from behind Lindsay, pointing and laughing quietly. "Have coffee with me and let me prove it to you." The young man smiled boyishly at Lindsay, attempting to hold back a giggle. Lindsay crossed her arms and smirked at the young man. "What's that going to prove? That your friends aren't professional actors?" The rough looking men sat back down and hid their faces with menus. "Here" the young man exclaimed, holding out his wallet. "My name is John and my address is right there." Lindsay looked over the id card and held it up to the light. "So why aren't you stalking Kelly Osbourne then?" Lindsay joked, handing back the card. "Long story" John replied. "I'll tell it to you over something to eat." John and Lindsay walked past John's friends. One of the two men spanked John with a menu as John held the door open for Lindsay. "Are they housebroken?" asked Lindsay, seeing the friends laugh and throw dinner rolls at each other through the window. "Nope. Acting Students." "Too bad." John waved for the friends to come in and all four sat in a booth, ready to eat a fantastic lunch. |
