HOLLYWOOD - Actress Lindsay Lohan has pulled out of the chance to team up onscreen with Keira Knightley in a new Dylan Thomas biopic due to contract issues. The two stars were expected to appear together in The Best Time of Our Lives, but Lohan has now passed on the project after failing to work out an agreeable contract with producers. According to Life & Style magazine, Lohan was supposed to start work on the film this weekend. An insider tells the magazine, "She didn't back out and they (producers) didn't pull the deal, but there were changes that weren't to her liking, and that was that." Lohan and Knightley were rumored to be part of a steamy threesome in the film. Lohan was slated to play poet Thomas' wife, Caitlin MacNamara, while Knightley will star as the poet's childhood friend. She isn't in the UK right now, so if she was supposed to start shooting this weekend she would have gone there already. But stuff like this just happens sometimes, I do wonder who will replace her though, pretty short notice. |

Bad planning by the producers of the movie I would say. They should have made certain that they would have a cast weeks ago. Or they just figured they would get things sorted out.

soo all this is the production fault? QUOTE But there were changes that weren't to her liking, and that was that. i think keira's mum changes a few things in the script so probably lohan doesn't like it according to a user 4rom imdb board "There has been a HUGE backlash against Lindsay's casting in this film and she probably seriously doesn't have time. They were supposed to do read-throughs and rehearsals this week but Lindsay has been doing that campaign. They knew about those schedules beforehand, I doubt it was because of scheduling conflicts. What the exact reasons were we'll probably here in a little while.

i think this might be good news. shes rumored to be starring alongside colin farrell in the upcoming film Borgia. If that's true she won't start filming until towards the end of the year. now maybe she can take this time to work on her third album, finish it up, and release it. that would be exciting! other than that she has no upcoming films for production unless Barbarella and this Borgia film is actually going to happen.
